ESN Delft is quickly expanding and always looking for new partnerships.
About ESN Delft
Erasmus Student Network Delft (ESN Delft) is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, that organizes events for and provides services to international students on Erasmus or Exchange in Delft. It was founded in February of 2015 by six enthusiastic students of Delft University of Technology, that wanted to provide the amazing Erasmus experience they had themselves to Delft. In June 2015 ESN Delft became an official member of the Erasmus Student Network the Netherlands (ESN the Netherlands) and the international Erasmus Student Network (ESN AISBL).
About Erasmus Student Network
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest interdisciplinary student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th of October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange.
ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing the student exchange from different levels, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad ("internationalisation at home").
We have more than 500 sections in 39 countries and we are constantly developing and expanding. This happens on a local, national and international level. On these three levels we have around 14.500 active members. On a local level these members are supported by local volunteers in the roles of buddies, guides, committee-members and so on. Thus, ESN involves around 34.000 young people offering its services to around 190.000 international students every year.
Why work with ESN?
A link to the international students
ESN Delft aims to provide a smooth transition and integration into the Netherlands for the students by proposing various activities and offering services to them for their period studying abroad.
A new image for your company
Being a partner of ESN demonstrates your involvement in the future of Europe and in the youth of Europe. Supporting ESN is an expression of interest in the possibilities of young people and the added value they bring with them after a successful mobility period. Providing financial, professional or tangible support for the daily activities of a volunteer student organisation likewise creates a positive public image for your company and brings social recognition and a long-term professional reputation for your brand.
Offer unique services to our members
The ESNcard project, launched in 2004, aims to create an international student card for all exchange students and ESN volunteers. The ESNcard gives students the possibility to benefit from unique partnerships, offers and discounts on the local, national and international level. On the website ESNcard.org, the 140.000 ESNcard holders can access all discounts and deals offered by partners of ESN.
What do we look for in a partner?
ESN is looking for partners that are international in their outlook, scope and operations. We would like to cooperate with companies and organisations that see value in having international, multicultural and multilingual teams working together, much like ESN. Furthermore, we are looking for partners that wish to support the work of ESN and thus, international mobility, educational exchange and intercultural dialogue.
Are students your target group? Do you offer the best services or products that both Dutch and international students should get access to? Become a partner of ESN Delft! For more info contact the Public Relations Manager of ESN Delft, Danielle Wagenaar, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
